Happy Hump day… and happy National Drink Beer Day, too!

As if we need a reason to have a nice, cool pint, right? Beer and craft beers have been gaining in popularity across Canada, with micro breweries opening up all over the country. Craft beer also nabbed the top spot in our 2016 Chef’s Survey, for the second year in a row – and is definitely something that restaurateurs shouldn’t overlook for their menus. It’s definitely a crowd pleaser!

So why September 28th?  According to the National Day Calendar website, the “malty elixir is toasted annually on September 28th on National Drink Beer Day,” and “as the Oktoberfest season comes to an end, this day is a great reminder to enjoy the world’s most popular adult beverage.”
