Bond’s first martini of choice in Casino Royale is no gamble. The Lillet appeals to his sweeter side.

What you need:
3 oz Gordon’s Gin
1 oz vodka
1/2 oz Kina Lillet (labelled as White or Blanc Lillet)

This all-white martini is the perfect accessory for our man in black. If you’d like a sweet touch, pick a Riesling.

What you need:
3 oz gin
1 oz vodka
½ oz white wine

Dirty Vodka Martini

It’s no surprise the naughty spy gets a little dirty in Spectre. This martini is saltier than most, but pickle-lovers will lap it up.

What you need:
2 oz vodka
1 tbsp dry vermouth
2 tbsp olive juice
wedge of lemon
1 green olive

Variety is the spice of life, a belief James Bond most certainly subscribed to. Which is why we’re confident he wouldn’t shy away from this hot number.

What you need:
5 oz gin
1 oz vermouth
15 drops of hot sauce (e.g. Tabasco)

The Cosmopolitan

Carrie Bradshaw may have made this pink drink famous, but we know 007 is man enough to try it. Neither too sweet nor too tart, this martini hits the spot.

What you need:
2 oz vodka
½ oz triple sec
¾ oz cranberry juice
¼ to ½ oz fresh lime juice
One 2-in. orange peel/twist
