Salvation Army helping those in need during Wildfire Emergency            

Local Restaurants Canada Member, Salvation Army, focal point of relief efforts Perhaps no Restaurants Canada member exemplifies our mission “Together We Nourish a Nation” as much as one of our members in Fort McMurray Alberta – the local Salvation Army Community Services Division – as part of relief efforts during the Wildfire Emergency. The Salvation Army has mobilized four emergency response units to support first responders in Fort McMurray and area. The Salvation Army’s Emergency and Disaster Services is providing support to first responders and those impacted by the wild fire disaster, which has caused some 80,000 residents to flee their homes and businesses, many of which have been destroyed.
