The Taste Canada Awards is back October 30 for a night of Canadian Cookbook pride! For their 20th anniversary, Taste Canada’s gala will take place at the Ritz-Carlton ballroom and will be hosted by our talented chefs: Chef Dan Craig – Ritz-Carlton Toronto Hotel Dufflet Rosenberg – Dufflet Pastries Chef Robert Mills – EPIC – Fairmont Royal York Hotel Chef Tawfik Shehata - The International Centre Chef Matt Basile - Fidel Gastro’s Chef Vanessa Young - Aphrodite Cooks Chef Jason Bangerter of Langdon Hall - Cacao Barry Chef Amédé Lamarche and Culinary Students- Conestoga College Chef Jonathan Gushue - The Berlin Chef Jaret Flannigan - The Wooly Pub Chef Trevor Ritchie – Bocuse d’Or Team Canada As we scanned the list of shortlisted nominees, we were reminded of the excellent writers in Canada who focus their attention on food.
