A million reasons not to drive impaired

Recently, Students Against Drinking and Driving (SADD) Alberta and the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC) unveiled liquor store bags designed by Kimberlie Crowe, a Grade 11 student from Lethbridge and the 2016 SADD Liquor Bag Design Contest winner. Kimberlie’s powerful message “Don’t mix cheers and gears” was printed on one million paper liquor bags that were distributed to liquor stores throughout Alberta during the May long weekend. “I created my bag in the hope of having a positive effect on one’s decision to not drink and drive. When you make the decision to drive under the influence of alcohol you are not only putting yourself at risk, but also those around you.
